Re: *** OFFICIAL ISU VS KSU POST GAME THREAD ***
This is a team that could, on the right day, win the big 12 tourney....I suppose the same could be said and we lose.

If you don't know this, then it's something you have to learn about the NCAA Tournament.
In the end, if we are going for an at-large bid, the selection committee will *obviously* take note of it, but if we have a few more good wins, it will be moot for them especially coming on the road.

Wasn't always pretty but good win! Nice to know we can not play our best and still beat a quality opponent.

Re: *** OFFICIAL ISU VS KSU POST GAME THREAD ***
Dang........where was this team against Tech?
Good game....sure would have been a lot easier if they shot free throws better. They have been pretty good this year, but today was terrible.
Finally did well on the boards, especially keeping the other team off the offensive board.
Great game by Will, KL, McGee and Niang. Melvin did a great job on the boards. I thought Babb played great D on McGruder without fouling him.
McGee has to learn to watch for those screens coming on him, and how to avoid them. Interior D is still a problem, but I don't think this team can fix it.
Good job today.

Those really hurt us today also, he missed some barely contested shots. I would be practicing every spare minute I have.

He's terrible when someone contests him. I'd disagree with that. He had a pretty good post up one hand shot last year. He seems like he might've hit a sophomore slump with the emergence of Niang but I have confidence he'll be pretty good by the time he's done here.

Very big win to get back on track. Huge game out if Clyburn. MacGruder got Babbed.

Re: *** OFFICIAL ISU VS KSU POST GAME THREAD ***
Can Niang please condition himself to play all 40 minutes? Our offense is 100x better when he's on the floor. Seriously.

He can be a great player if he learned how to pass the ball. I'm not sure why he thinks he has to shoot it? Is he really that selfish?

He has a LONG LONG LONG way to go. Sorry, but on the offensive end, he's not there yet unless he's either uncontested or he's going from 2 feet away and not rushed. I think it's absolutely ludicrous how people think he's some solid offensive player. He has a lot of potential I think, but he has a long way to go before he would be considered solid.

Completely agree, unfortunately. His opponents probably know he has no right hand at all this year, so they lock him down better.

Re: *** OFFICIAL ISU VS KSU POST GAME THREAD ***
This was a great team win. We have done a good job coming back home after tough losses. We clearly have the ability to beat anyone in this conference. The question will be what team shows up at Oklahoma State.
