I hope those silly critics of CL and WC are now silenced. Especially those who were tweeting our players. An absolute crock. You probably won't feel ashamed but you should.
And don't say it was a different game - although it was, obviously - because WC played the exact same role against TT!

I did question their heart during the TT game and I think myself and anyone else that did had the right to. Now those that took it to twitter and made personal attacks - they are still DBs

Well the criticism was justified, the loss to Tech is inexcusable... Either way, they both played a very good game today!

I agree with this.
I don't feel ashamed for questioning the entire team's energy level and effort at TT at all. If I was a member of the team, I would feel bad about that effort as well and apologize to the fans.
But there is no need for people to attack the players on twitter IMO.
MUCH improved effort today, and it showed. If we had played with today's effort at TT, we win by 20. That's what is discouraging.

Think it may have been Niang (may have been another I don't remember) but some did apologize and say the next game they would come out fighting. The posted it right after the game on twitter

I just like it when I hear any athlete after a bad loss come out and say they were embarrassed by their effort and apologize for it.
You are right, they don't have to do it. You don't HAVE to do a lot of things. You don't HAVE to help an old lady get up when she has fallen either, but it's the right thing to do.
After that TT loss, if I were a member of the ISU team, I would have apologized to the Cyclone Nation for my pi$$ poor effort. I wouldn't HAVE to do it, but I would.
And after today's game, I would first congratulate all my teammates and coaches, and then I would also give some props out to the great Hilton crowd for their support as well. And none of these things are anything I would have to do, but I just think it's the right thing to do. Everything isn't about me.

Korie and Will were TERRIBLE at TTU.
They were both very good today.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Niang did in fact say that. He seems to have a really good head on his shoulders. He understands how it works. It's not all about him.

Hindsight is 20/20. If they are capable of that vs Kstate, then how can they put up that performance against Texas Tech? Lack of effort and carelessness, two things that can be easily controlled.
To think that anyone who does something positive should be immune from all negatives in their past is preposterous.
People tweeting at them are ******** though.
