I'm pretty sure he broke down in tears talking about the terrible tweets he's been getting. They all hugged, discussed the tweets, worked through the emotions, and game planned based upon CF advice.

That's exactly what a captain does.

After the KU game, I was pretty pleased with what I heard out of the players after the game and the day before the Texas game. It was not surprising the guys came out and played well.

I wasn't as sure after Wednesday night. The guys seemed a bit more shellshocked. I was not at all sure how we could come out and play.

It shows a lot about Korie and the rest of the players that they had this meeting.

I would hope this would put to rest the daily threads wondering if various players 'care'. I think they care. And I think that just because they don't go out to half court and scream out "I CARE", doesn't mean that they are trying any less.

Kory has made some great plays at the end of games, and is especially a good second half player. This team just keeps getting better, except for free throws. We need to do something about the free throws.

If I was a reporter, I'd love to talk to Georges because I don't think he self-edits much of anything he says :)

I didn't think so. Korie talked to Randy Peterson about it in detail. If there is an unspoken player rule about not talking about those things to the media, the guy who called the meeting wouldn't have said as much as he did to Peterson.
