Re: Booker no PT
I've been a critic of Booker for quite a while because he was taking himself out of games with all the fouls, but zero minutes in the last few games? That's hard to understand, unless it is a suspension.
It looks like we might just go with Clyburn as another forward when two of the other forwards sit (Niang, Gibson and Ejim). We played with what was really a four-guard set for what seemed like a long time against Baylor.

Can't speak for chippewa......but I always assumed it was something you just confirmed. And if sports is so important to where you need to be involved in something that can be destructive.....well then chippewa's point is valid.

It's only destructive if you use it like a 16 year old girl. It's a versatile tool. I don't "need to be involved." It's not a club. It's a way to get information specifically tailored to your interests, among other functions.

Re: Booker no PT
I'm guessing Booker has an attitude problem. You can tell by his body language on the bench he has checked out and doesn't care and the last few times he's been in a game he's had the same expression. Fred must have a good reason to sit him and from the limited minutes we've seen of Booker it's been justified as he hasn't had a productive game since 12/19 against UKMC where he played 25 minutes and had 11 points.
We have a lot more invested in playing Gibson over Booker being Booker is a senior and Gibson a sophomore whose best games are ahead of him. Percy has seen a slight increase in his numbers this year besides FG% but he's still making over 50% from the field. We are so thin at depth in the post it would be great if Booker would re-dedicate himself and earn some playing time again and finish the season on a positive note instead of pouting over whatever it is his body language seems to portray.

I love all of the body language experts in this thread. I don't think anyone outside the program knows whats going on. Can we move on now?

His body language probably knocked out the lights at the Superdome.

Please give us and example where Booker has been showing positive emotion on the bench lately that would prove otherwise. The guys at the end of the bench at least look like they are interested in the game knowing that they won't see the court unless the score is lopsided one way or the other. Booker has some skills that would help this team but if he mentally is not in it why put him in the game right now? We aren't around this team daily like the coaching staff is, it's obvious there is something with his effort and attitude that is keeping him firmly planted on the bench right now.

Re: Booker no PT
This team’s greatest weakness IS the depth of the front line', and IF the Cyclones are able to accomplish great things still this year, it COULD/WOULD be because Booker and Percy bucked up and contributed...regardless of QUANTITY of minutes(!)...after, it looks to ME, like Bubu is actually bringing the best OUT of Korie (through competition for ball handling duties). Am I wrong? BOTH Anthony AND Percy were absolutely fantastic AND critical recruits...perhaps they don't realize just HOW valuable they ARE...MAYBE BECAUSE they read too many critical remarks on this site, HUH?
MY word to these players is to remember to keep your chins UP, count your blessings - realizing how LUCKY you are, AND that those criticizing you are just jealous of your awesome talent! BE EXCITED FOR EVERY OPPORTUNITY!
GO CYCLONES!

I think Bubu is a perfect example here. I think most of us wrote him off of ever playing another minute for ISU after his arrest but considering he has already broke the rotation this quickly despite the odds he has had to overcome by sitting out half the season says a lot. Booker has had every advantage as he started this season in the starting rotation and has become an afterthought now. You don't even have to be an insider with the program to see that something is up there from a starter to not seeing any time to know that the coaching staff made this decision for a reason.

To the people interpretting his body language, are you the same ones who decided Clyburn and luscious didn't care?

I feel like it doesnt take a phd in psychology to see something is going on. However it's not valuable to really speculate beyond that.

Re: Booker no PT
If I knew how to photoshop I would make a picture of Korie with flowing blonde hair and every time someone said Luscious i would post that.
