    RANKINGS...ISU beats K STATE and how they played Kansas.

    Are the rankings based on Wins alone? Was K State overated? I will be surprised if we are not in the top 25 after this weekend. We played well on the road vs KS..and beat K State. Beside the lost AT tech...am I thinking we deserve it? It just seems like with our talent...what are we ranked?

    It always depends on who wins and who loses, but I find it highly unlikey after going 1-1 including a loss at Tech.

    And can we stop bringing these threads up? It seems like whenever we get close to being ranked (football or basketball) and we make one of these threads, the team find a way to lose. It's bad luck. Just win.

    What?

    We don't deserve to be ranked in the top 40 IMO after losing to TT. K-State is good, but I'm not so sure how good?

    Today was our only "good" win of the entire year. But not near good enough to be ranked.

    WE had 1 vote after the tech loss. ISU needs to be ranked in order to get to the NCAA!! Last year I know we were not...but this year is different. Look at the big 10...they have how many in the top 25? Big 12...we are 5th in the big 12 and I think we are close to it...maybe 29th? I guess after a two good wins...WED at Ok State...we stand a chance!

    I think we will be ranked after next weekend if we win both games this week. We will get votes this week but I don't think we will be ranked yet, nor do I think we deserve to be ranked yet.

    Rankings come out on Monday, so we had 1 vote before the Tech loss.
    And no, we do not need to be ranked in order to be an at-large bid.
