This is a tough match up for ISU. They have some very good guard/wing scorers. They are fast and athletic, so we don't create as much of a mismatch on offense. They can score with us too. At home I see them winning by 8-10.

Even Mel, Kantrail and Jake couldn't get the win in GIA. Until ISU can break through in that building (since 1988, that is ridiculous!), I just can't pick 'em.

I agree with everything else you said, but both these guys play solid D.

The brain says Okie State 72, ISU 65. The heart says Cyclone Power 82, Okie State 62. The one thing both parts agree on, Cyclone Fanatic meltdown if the brain is correct.

Hmm...I don't think the meltdown would be that epic. I think most of us are realists and we know it's gonna be a hard fought game. Will there be swearing and knashing of teeth? Sure - I expect no less. However, I don't think anyone assumes ANY game is a gimme at this point (not that you are making that argument, either).

A win would be stupendous to start this 4 game stretch off right. A loss would suck because every win counts at this point.

Years of cheering for ISU make me cautiously optimistic for this one.

I think this is a tight game for 35 minutes. At the end of 35 minutes I see OSU up 4 to 6 points. For the last 5 minutes, we try to catch up with the 3 ball and go cold. 72-62 OSU.

The last time ISU beat OSU in Stillwater, you could buy generation 1 Transformers in stores (and K-Mart was in West Ames where Hy-Vee is now). I don't see a win tonight. I want to be optimistic, but better ISU teams have lost to worst OSU teams in Stillwater and I think that trend continues tonight.

I predicted we'd beat TCU by 30. I was wrong.
Then I predicted we'd beat TT by 20. I was wrong.
So, then I predicted KSU to beat us by 10. I was wrong.
And now, I am predicting OSU to beat us 76-71. Lets see if my streak continues.
