Nash is Byron Eaton's half brother, he played point guard at osu from from 06-09 I think that is the main reason he considered OSU from the start even though our program has struggled lately, and we have good facilities

This is a tough match up for ISU. They have some very good guard/wing scorers. They are fast and athletic, so we don't create as much of a mismatch on offense. They can score with us too. At home I see them winning by 8-10.

Even Mel, Kantrail and Jake couldn't get the win in GIA. Until ISU can break through in that building (since 1988, that is ridiculous!), I just can't pick 'em.

I think we will continue our good play against OSU that we saw Saturday against KSU. OSU may exploit the defense of KL, and our freshman Niang. The good thing is we can play Bubu now to give Korie some rest, and shore up our perimeter defense. This should be one of the better Big 12 games. I am going give the nod to ISU because I think we learned a valuable lesson at Lubbock, and we are playing well going into it. I look for a 3-7 point win.

Hmm...I don't think the meltdown would be that epic. I think most of us are realists and we know it's gonna be a hard fought game. Will there be swearing and knashing of teeth? Sure - I expect no less. However, I don't think anyone assumes ANY game is a gimme at this point (not that you are making that argument, either).

A win would be stupendous to start this 4 game stretch off right. A loss would suck because every win counts at this point.

Years of cheering for ISU make me cautiously optimistic for this one.

I think this is a tight game for 35 minutes. At the end of 35 minutes I see OSU up 4 to 6 points. For the last 5 minutes, we try to catch up with the 3 ball and go cold. 72-62 OSU.

The last time ISU beat OSU in Stillwater, you could buy generation 1 Transformers in stores (and K-Mart was in West Ames where Hy-Vee is now). I don't see a win tonight. I want to be optimistic, but better ISU teams have lost to worst OSU teams in Stillwater and I think that trend continues tonight.
