Iowa State at Oklahoma State predictions

The game Wednesday is in Stillwater, OK, and if memory serves--Iowa State hasn't won there since the late 80's!!
Unfortunately, I think that streak continues. Oklahoma State looked somewhat sluggish during the first half in their contest against West Virginia. But, during the second half poured it on and damn near beat the Mountaineers by 20. Granted, I have not seen Oklahoma State play a great deal, but when I have they looked good!

Iowa State is going to play like they did against Kansas in Lawrence if they want to have any chance at beating the Cowboys in Stillwater folks...

Unfortunately, I don't see any reason why the streak won't continue, they play great at home and have a good crowd. I'm not going to say "this is the year". Hope that isn't the case though.

If we can score like we did in the second half, we win. I wouldn't bet on this one though. My heart says yes, my head says no.

If they can clean up free throws and score like they did against K State, I think they can pull out a win. I didn't think they would beat K State, and they did without playing their best game. Still though, this isn't the game for Iowa State to figure out how to get a quality road win. OSU by 4.

The two teams seem to be pretty evenly matched in almost all categories when it comes to conference play. I think it will come down to 3 point shooting and rebounding (doesn't it always with ISU?). However, I think this team can come out and play well......they seem to play better on the road the better the competition is, so....let's hope. Close game.

The thing I hate about watching a televised game at Gallager Iba arena is that the camera angle is so far away it makes it frustrating to watch the game! Is anybody else in agreement with me on this?

We can't beat them there when we are good and they suck. So I have to go with okie state out of pure numbers

None of that matters for this season. You can take the same idea and say that we're due for a win because of all those losses. Neither one is really relevant.

I'm not sure what happens Wednesday. I like to think that our guys will play to the level of their competition, then rise up a little more for the win. That's just hope on my part. I've got nothing else to go on for this game.

I really think this one is going to be closer than my K-State prediction so I will go with

Road game in the B12 means we have to bring our complete A game.

ISU will be ready for this one. Our boys won't lay an egg, but getting a win will be very difficult. Expect the game to be decided in the final 2 minutes. Could go either way.
