Look, teams and schools find ways for walkons to get scholarships. Their work on the team almost turns into a huge volunteer project that takes up a large part of their life. Especially with his good academics, I would wager he does just fine.

Wouldn't those scholarships count against the team limit, anyway?

Leave Bubu on scholarship and call it good.

I don't think its really been clear on if Bubu was rewarded with a temporary scholarship because we had an extra one or if he earned it for keeps. He obviously doesn't need it because he walked on in the first place knowing he more than likely wasn't getting a scholarship...

But in this situation, Jones not making it is probably the most likely situation given the different rumors but all grades related with him.

Players have twitter, they get harassed way more on there and often by rivals or opposing teams on top of their own fan base... but those fans also make them feel great about themselves most days. Double edge sword, its social media now and theres no controlling it anymore. Their choice to view.

You can get academic scholarships as a walkon. Bubu wasn't recruited, so he could get full ride, unless receiving an athletic scholarship voids that rule. Even then, teams find ways.

Bubu is on a full-ride athletic scholarship and will be until his eligibility expires.

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure that's why Leo left the team. He couldn't take an academic scholarship while on the football team.
