If I could write as good as Blum, I would not have to work for a living!

Re: BLUM: The Mayor and the Bubble Factory
Nicely done. That would be a lot of good wins, and very doable.

We are depending on you, Blum. You just set the bar.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

11 wins in the Big 12 = only seven more with six home games still to play

I want to win out at home, just for the sake of expanding our home win streak. Regardless of how young we are next season, we could probably go undefeated at home during the non-conference portion (maybe lose to Iowa) and if we have a really tough game scheduled in there which I'm not sure.
Either way, I'd like to stomp KU for there miracle buzzer beater they had against us.

Regardless, would love to end this season on a current 24-game home winning streak.

A key point: The misnomer about the NCAA tournament is that in order to receive your golden ticket, you have to be a great basketball team.
Granted, past evidence guarantees nothing, and ISU has plenty left to accomplish to avoid sweating on Selection Sunday. And evidence from past tournament fields guarantees nothing. But Iowa State has a solid resume right now.
I'd venture to say if Selection Sunday were next weekend, ISU would be in the tournament even going 0-2 this week at OSU and home vs. BU.
(In the real context, though, best to avoid that )

Re: BLUM: The Mayor and the Bubble Factory
The reason we "must" (quoting Blum) beat Kansas at home isn't to make the dance. It is for retribution! We let them hang around too long on their court and they made a fluke shot at the end of regulation. Now we must punish them on our court.

Regardless, would love to end this season on a current 24-game home winning streak. Thank goodness Burke will likely be headed to the NBA after this season.

They will be pretty beatable unless Walton is the next Burke, which, well, could be. Originally Posted by CyFan61 Stauskas and Thomas will just exchange threes the whole game. Man, if we could have gotten Stauskas and started a Morris, Thomas, Staskas, Ejim, Niang lineup, that would have been awesome.
