You think the Big12 will get six teams in?

You don't shoot free throws on a player control foul or a team control foul. You have to have possession of the ball to commit a player control foul. They must have ruled that OSU had "team control" when he threw the ball up for grabs like that.
As for the Clyburn bull **** foul and following free throws, there is no "team control" in a rebounding situation.
bull ****

Went back and watched this play and you are 100% correct.

LOL!
Re: ***Official ISU vs OSU Postgame thread***
Come on now. We had some calls go our way too. The calls down the stretch were iffy, but I think your missing the point. We make shots and guard in the last 5 minutes and we win.

What??
And give them the lead? Why would we do that????
Re: ***Official ISU vs OSU Postgame thread***
At least I can say watching an 8 on 5 basketball game is off my bucket list.

Please tell me you forgot the pirate, otherwise please bring back negative rep.
Re: ***Official ISU vs OSU Postgame thread***
I was pleasantly surprised we got out to an 11 point 2nd half lead. We battled, shot well, rebounded, etc. Like the KU game, you want to say good job, but for a team fighting to be on the bubble it is not good enough.
Three blown opportunities on the road. Yes, it is hard, but that is what being a good team is about. The difference between having a good season and falling short is often winning the close games. In 2010-11 we went 4-10 in games decided by 6 points or less. You HAVE to win these types of games.

No, I think you made the point solidly.

I thought they got free throws on the Clyburn foul because they were in the bonus.
I thought Babb didn't get free throws, even though the foul happened in the back court, because he didn't have possession of the ball.
My question is if Babb didn't have possession (and the foul occurred before he even touched the ball, which it did), why didn't we get the ball back at the point it was in-bounded (in front of our bench) rather than close to where the foul occurred?
Re: ***Official ISU vs OSU Postgame thread***
Lunardi has 6 in now. I don't know what would change. Plus, I think by the time its all said and done we are in 4th-5th place.

Clyburn having a hand in his face throwing it up is not a good play. Especially with 25 seconds left.
