If Texas made it on 10 last year, we sure as heck will this year.
Pay no attention to UT's W-L last season, it cannot be directly applied to Iowa State's chances this season.
If you're comparing how Texas got in and assessing how Iowa State could do it this year, at 10-8, that's another matter, although 10-8 with current resume and remaining possibilities on the schedule = serious Selection Sunday Sweating.
I think the key will be maintaining our level of play, and winning at home. If we take care of business at home, and play at a high level on the road, we have a shot to be sitting pretty in March. Definitely need to get a couple marquee wins to help things along.
