And happy coach means better success for all us fans!! Yah!! I do not care where they have their children attend school just glad we have good schools around here in central Iowa. When I was a GM in retail some people were butthurt that the coaches kids went to Gilbert and also had people from Gilbert get all ****** off the coaches kids went there because they got more "material stuff" then their kids. So dumb.
If they expanded south, wouldn't the same thing happen to Ballard? Kids would start going to Ballard instead of Ames? I'm not really familiar with how all this works, but I don't think the Ames district has much room to get bigger because any direction that it expands would easily be able to go to surrounding schools, like the Gilbert situation. Too far south= Ballard. Too far west would=Boone? East=Nevada North= Gilbert?. I just don't think Ames has much potential for growth as it really is a city school.
In college, I lived with 5 guys that were all from Ames, one went to Gilbert, but in their 4 years supposedly never missed a day of school for weather because there are no rural route kids at Ames, or at least very few.
Totally different than where I grew up, two-five miles outside of Ames and you are in a different school
According to quikstatsiowa Hoiberg's daughter is a 5'-7" sophomore averaging 6.7 ppg. Pollard's son is a 5'-8" sophomore averaging 6.3 ppg.
You guys are ruining a Rulzzz thread with your Ames v. Gilbert mumbo-jumbo. Shame on you.
That travel call was atrocious, you didn't call any fouls on the other team, you stole the ball from Gilbert and made a layup for the other team and screamed "COUNT IT" and I still can't believe your toupee fell off as you were running down the court.
I bet there aren't any virgins left after Fred came through town.
Hoiberg should live at the practice facility. Kids shouldn't go to school... they should be working on their game 24/7...
