Fred was in my town tonight
Nevada hosted Gilbert tonight. Fred's daughter plays basketball and Pollard's son plays basketball. Didn't go to the game but heard Fred was there and Paige scored 23 points basketball genes obviously in that family. Wish I had gone now.

Re: Fred was in my town tonight
My wife was at the game, drooling over Coach McDreamy. Hopin' that pays dividends for the ol' Naughtius later.

I will never understand why people get butthurt where he chooses to send his kids to school. My wife teaches in the district and this is a bone of contention for some people and I don't get it.

But some people are obviously overly sensitive about the matter.

North of Bloomington Road is Gilbert school district which includes Northridge Heights, Bloomington Heights which are in Ames.
also Jackson was going to go to Ames but found out he was going to have to miss some or all of the football season as a transfer student so went to Gilbert.

Re: Fred was in my town tonight
I wondered if CPR's kids did basketball, but I heard I guess they are wrestlers instead.

Oh yeah, those of us in Ames who support Ames High are quite frustrated that Ames doesn't have the kind of properties that the high paid coaches want.
In the case of FH, don't you think he would like the idea of his kids going to his own high school rather than the next one north? Not saying that it isn't a good choice to send them to Gilbert, but it is a bit awkward for the Mayor of Ames (not Gilbert).
