    Re: Road wins...

Winning on the road is always a concern, but considering the last game at OSU was basically theirs and taken away and the KU game, I think these guys are fine. It isn't like they are getting blown out on the road.

No, we've already played our two toughest road games and probably should have won both of them. Just need to find a way to finish the deal.

    Re: Road wins...

It seems that ISU has been right there to win at Kansas and again at OSU, but our inability to hold a lead late in games does concern me. It is something that will need to be fixed to run deep this year in the Big12 and NCAA tournys. I think it comes down to adjusting how you play an opponent when you have the lead home vs. away. I think at home you can be more aggressive to the end... paying little mind to the clock. I believe if you have a lead on the road you need to learn how to milk clock and be more selective with your shots. I think that has been the most critical issue with this team, they have a lead with 1-2 minutes remaining and take a shot with the shot clock still in the 20's......they need to realize that on the road the clock is your "6th" man.

That doesn't concern me as much as our ability to finish games, both on the road and home. Although, it was refreshing last night to see us pull away late and hold the lead.

Need to find a way to hold serve at home and steal two more on the road. Do that, and they're dancing.

Not unless ISU hasn't won a road game until they play in Norman on the 2nd.

Going to KState wont be easy. Playing at OU wont be a cakewalk either.

    Re: Road wins...

We have plenty of time left to get some road wins. Last year we were in the same spot (14-6, 4-3) before the KU game at Hilton and went on a good run to end conference play. I expect the same this year.

Monday is at James H. Hilton
“They're very, very hard to guard,” Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey said. “They're really good. And with Niang in the middle kind of wheeling and all those guys spreading you out, they're kind of a nightmare matchup. And they're men. They're really men.”

    Re: Road wins...

Crazy how similar this years team is to last years. A couple rough non-conference games, inconsistent play from the guys you hear are suppose to be good. Then conference season comes and the ball is rolling, Clyburn turning it up, the role players accepting thier spots. We will be dancing in March its just a matter of what seed we get stuck with. I'll take the 11-13 we are being predicted over the 8/9.

Can't be a ISU fan and not worry about something. If not road wins we would worry about injuries or coaches leaving or...
