Pledger - Babb match-up
Did a little research on this...
OU's Steven Pledger of course dropped 38 on Iowa State in one game in 2010.
Since Chris Babb became eligible to play, Pledger combined to go 7-for-25 with 21 points in two games last season.
Thought I'd share that with you all today.

Romero Osby is the other one that scares me. I'm guessing Ejim will be on him?

He plays a lot like Osby, and the combination of the two of them, with Fitzgerald coming off the bench, is what scares me the most about OU. They have the athletic ability down low to draw a lot of fouls in a hurry.

Sounds like a great time for Booker to have a good game.

I remember in Norman Pledger hit a couple 3's when Babb went out of the game. Fred brought him right back in and stopped Pledger's mini run.

Re: Pledger - Babb match-up
Pledger having a tough season - not playing nearly as well as he has before, and not getting nearly as many minutes. hopefully he continues to struggle and doesn't break out against us.

In Ames, he ended 2-for-11 from the field.

Will played the '4' quite a bit against Baylor, I could see us going small again this game as I think Will could guard Osby. If Clark isn't in the game (only plays ~16 mins), they don't really have anyone between 6'3" and 6'8".
This should be an interesting game as they don't shoot the three much at all. As a team, they have exactly as many 3pts as McGee and Lucious combined (92). We have 190 on the season as a team.

Does anyone have a video of Pledger's celebration from last year on his buzzer beater only for the ball not to go in?

Re: Pledger - Babb match-up
Control the boards and control the game in this one gents. Percy is going to get some nice minutes today and will come away with 8 points and 8 boards. McGee and Will get rolling tonight and have a combined 40 pts.

If we are spreading the floor and hitting our 3s, we will be a matchup issue for OU. I really liked our ability to take it off the dribble against Baylor. It puts that much more pressure on the defense.
