Okoro Redshirting?
I didn't see him on the bench tonight and he did not play even when the walk-ons were in. I know he has played a few games but I hadn't seen anything saying he was redshirting or was injured.

Re: Okoro Redshirting?
Probably home with his family since his brother died few days ago.

Wow didn't know that. Prayers to his family

Re: Okoro Redshirting?
Yeah he's still back with his family. I know cyclone Alley had everyone sign posters before/after the game to send to him and his family, looked like easily 300+ signatures. Hopefully he's getting a ton of support in this extremely hard time. Theres no rush to come back to basketball right now for him, he needs to be with his family.

Re: Okoro Redshirting?
I think it's great news for him. Gives him an extra year with all the family trouble going on. Lets him focus on family and not on basketball (while I hope he uses the rest of the off year to help his game as well).

Re: Okoro Redshirting?
Sad news. He has appeared in five games this season netting 23 minutes btw.
If you take away first base, they'll just go find a new ballpark to play in. -

Re: Okoro Redshirting?
I wonder if he could apply for a RS based on the low amount of PT along with the passing of his brother?? Either way, I hope he can find a way to work back into the swing of things after this tragedy.
