Rece Davis on Hilton

They just showed some highlights of the game on ESPN and when leading into the highlights Rece Davis said "You don't just waltz in Hilton Coliseum and come out with a win!" or something along those lines. Well, I have heard him say that the last 5 or so times he has done the highlights on an ISU home game.
Is there some type of inside joke that I am missing? Did somebody say that at one point and now he is taking off with it? Or is he just saying it because its true? I just find it odd because he says it ALL THE TIME. I'm not hating on him, I love it, I just want to know the reason behind it.

He did this too when they added his commentary to the NCAA Football games. He's got a few quips he does a start of a home game for Iowa State, but one of them is "You don't just sashay into Jack Trice Stadium and expect to come out with a victory!"

He says the same thing on NCAA 13 Col Football during the pre game blerp. "You just dont waltz into jack trice and walk away with a win." Sersiously the only line he knows...

One of the other guys said something along the lines of "I think KState is a solid team but this Iowa State team is the 2nd best in the Big 12."
