That is correct. That is one of many reasons it would be stupid to require 4 years of play to qualify to have a jersey retired.

If we retire Tinsleys after two seasons, we might as well retire Royce Whites', since Royce actually took studies seriously

I thought, at the time, that Rashon Clark had a decent shot at his jersey being retired.
Has ISU's relationship with Jake Sullivan deteriorated? I thought there was a reason he wasn't trying to get more AAU players here. You would think they would have at least considered him as well.

Re: Why hasn't Marcus Fizer's jersey been retired?

I'm a fan of the graduation requirement. I also like the idea that graduation, even years later, would allow a jersey to be retired. Sends the right messages, especially given the number of athletes that leave early for a shot at the pros and wind up with nothing to fall back on by age 35.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I thought Jake Sullivan was now focused on coaching very young children exclusively?

I think there's a good chance that Niang's is the next one up there. Although I wouldn't be opposed to Ejim's either. Solid player but more importantly, great all around person and takes academics seriously

I also prefer the graduation requirement.

    Fizer's twitter feed is depressing.

You have got to be joking about Rashon Clark. Who are you, his brother or some other close relative?

That is unbelievable that you think he was that good. He could jump and he hustled but that is about it.
