Sure, but it all depends on how well he can play after sitting for so long. I know he'll be hungry to make a statement, but that doesn't always work out so well. Plus, he's missing an assist target in Holmes (who'll still be out) and he'll be taking minutes away from McClellan who is on a bit of a tear lately.
I dunno. I don't think one guy returning can rinse away the stink that is Texas basketball this year.
You have good points, but I think that the return of Myck can at least neutralize the mental damage that the season has created on the whole team. If Iowa State comes out and punches them in the mouth (like the OU game but with a little rebounding) they might fold like a cheap card table. I really think the key will be to limit Kabongo from the start. If he struggles with scoring and assists through the second media timeout they may very well crumble. If he is feeling it early in the game, look out.
Well, for me, Baylor has never won in Hilton (EVER) but has worked us in Waco recently. We beat the same KState team in Manhattan last year. I am starting to believe this year's Cyclone squad is better, all around, than last year.
As for WVU over Kansas...has anyone seen WVU play lately? They are improving, and we beat them by 2, on a last second layup, in Ames. We should have beaten Kansas in Lawrence...I think we match up well with Kansas.
I could go on, but these are primary reasons...for me.
We kicked the crap out of them for 75% of the game and then they made a flukey run on on us to close the deficit. We're at least 10-15 points better than them at home and should beat them on the road by 5+. Not saying it is guaranteed but I AM saying that there's no way in heck that playing @ WVU is going to be tougher than playing KU in Hilton.

There is a reason KU has lost 2 games this season and WVU has lost 11. Both games will be tough, but it will take another Herculean effort to take down Self's team. Also keep in mind that in Lawrence they were not prepared for Georges. They will be much more prepared and scheme for what Fred did in Lawrence when they come to Hilton. Self is a great coach and he will have them prepared.
"There are five real good recruits in the state. We got three of them. One couldn’t get into school, and the other went to (the University of) Iowa...which is about the same thing." - Coach Johnny Orr
