I, like many, can do it both sober or drunk. But when many become very judgmental and give you a scowl in a student section for supporting the team, this affects someones urge to get all "bat **** crazy". And guess what may help solve that problem? Liquid Courage....

Those people judging include CAC, so how will that work out when you get kicked out of the game?

Trust me, I've lived with a CAC member for a year who was the epitome of what is wrong with the student section.

Non-conference games are awful in every section. Until ISU upgrades the non-conference schedule, it will continue to suck. I chalk the OU game up to the 6PM tip. Its a tough time for anyone to get to.

I will say, Saturday against Baylor was by-far the fullest I have seen the student section (where only students where in it) in nearly 10 years.

I agree with your idea, but nobody writes checks.

At football games when we are stuck next to drunk people, it takes away from the game. Just saying.

Go back to the lottery system. Makes you appreciate when your seats are close--we sure as heck didn't skip on the games that we had a shot at being close, and we yelled like it. Loved it (and hated it), and the crowds were plenty loud.

Im not necessarily disagreeing with your position, I just think you dont have to be drunk to enjoy a game.

As a current student, I'd like to know the details about this. Can you explain how this worked? Every student who showed up got a randomly assigned seat?
