KSU Predictions
Whats everyone thinking? I go back and forth on this one and think its going to be a great back and forth game. ISU took care of KSU once this season, has only lost one conference road game played on the weekend in the last two seasons (in Lawrence), and has the better coach. Game goes to overtime and ISU get a crucial win.
ISU- 82
KSU- 81

Re: KSU Predictions
Hoping we play like we usually do when we're playing big time opponents. Also like the fact KSU plays KU at the Phog on Monday. They are going to want to beat them when they're down, so I'm hoping they focus on them more. I think KL and WC continue to have great games in conference. I'm a little optimistic.
ISU: 76
KSU: 72

Re: KSU Predictions
I don't see this one getting into the 80's. 66-65 ISU

Re: KSU Predictions
I'm beginning to see a sense of urgency with Lucious and Clyburn.
Better focus and more intensity.
Thus : ISU 71 KScUm: 66

Re: KSU Predictions
I'm envisioning an OSU-esque "shoulda, woulda, coulda" game, in which we're up by at least 4 with a minute remaining but can't seal the deal.
Cats 72, Clones 70
Hope I'm wrong and we throttle them.

Hope I'm wrong and we throttle them. Completely agree. Close loss, just can't quite put it away. I see Niang getting in foul trouble again as he will get NO benefit from the refs on the road, banging with KSU's big guys.

Re: KSU Predictions
64-62 KSU. But, if we win I smell a Big 12 co-championship.

Re: KSU Predictions
I see this going two ways.
1) ISU (specifically Ejim and Niang) stay out of foul trouble and ISU wins by 2 (73-71).
2) Ejim and Niang get into foul trouble (which is more likely) and ISU loses by 7 (74-67).
Obvious X-factor here is how the Clones will shoot and the defense Babb can put on McGruder. KSU is a good team and should beat the Clones as I think they are the better team, but ISU has the potential to beat anybody at anytime. It's going to take a team effort!

Re: KSU Predictions
I think if we can repeat the 11 threes we made down there last year we have a chance.
