Re: CF Member Bracketology
Bracketed, instead of my usual listing. It doesn't reflect my true order, but probably more realistic going that route.
Regions are arranged 1v4, 2v3 So Final 4 is Midwest vs. West, East vs. South).
If I goofed on any basic bracketing procedures -- first try this season, so it wouldn't surprise me. Midwest (Indianapolis) Dayton - 1. Indiana

Re: CF Member Bracketology
I typically find yours more convincing than mine, especially in the seedings.
Fun thing about this exercise is, it shows why the committee comprises multiple people.

Re: CF Member Bracketology
My slightly more detailed version of Bracketology/Bubble Watch(2/21/13-Before Thursday's games)
America East(1)-Stony Brook: The Seawolves appear to be in the driver's seat for the America East regular season crown after beating Vermont last Friday.
Atlantic 10(5)-Butler, VCU, Saint Louis, La Salle, Temple: Saint Louis joins Butler as a lock into the tourney after routing VCU at home. VCU should still get in as long as they don't fade down the stretch. La Salle is squarely on the bubble with no huge wins since Butler and VCU in January. Temple is in for now with other bubble teams losing. Charlotte is fading with 4 losses in 6 games. UMass has zero signature wins, and a couple of questionable conference losses so they are in trouble right now.
ACC(5)-Miami(FL), Duke, NC State, North Carolina, Virginia: NC State will get into the field with strong computer numbers and very few bad losses. North Carolina has strong computer numbers but only one RPI top 50 win(UNLV) so they're still on the bubble for now. Virginia is the exact opposite of North Carolina with good wins, but poor computer numbers due to some ugly losses. They're squarely on the bubble right now. Maryland falls out after following up a huge home win against Duke with a baffling road loss to Boston College.
Atlantic Sun(1)-Mercer: The Bears of Mercer stay ahead of Florida Gulf Coast in a two-team race for the A-Sun regular season crown.
Big 12(6)-Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Iowa State, Baylor: The top three are locks as of now. Oklahoma is in great shape with strong computer numbers and those wins against Oklahoma State and Kansas. Iowa State picked up a huge road win against Baylor and appears in decent shape to make the tourney with or without wins at home against Kansas and Oklahoma State. Baylor might have to steal a game against the Kansas teams and win a game in the Big 12 tourney to make the Dance.
Big East(7)- Syracuse, Louisville, Marquette, Georgetown, Cincinnati, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh: All seven of these teams are locks or should be in the field. Villanova is still squarely on the bubble with wins vs. Syracuse and Louisville and at UConn, but also that loss vs. Columbia and getting swept by an improving Providence team. St. Johns is all but out right now with not enough great wins and way too many questionable losses.
Big Sky(1)- Montana: Montana still leads the Big Sky though Weber State will be a factor in the conference tourney for sure.
Big South(1)- High Point: The Panthers lead this mess of a conference, but the winner of the conference will likely be in the play-in game for a 16 seed.
Big Ten(7)- Indiana, Michigan State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Illinois, Minnesota: The Fighting Illini are in decent shape with four straight victories and a strong resume. The Golden Gophers should still get in even with their current slump. Iowa is winning some games right now, but with no top 100 wins away from home and poor computer numbers, they are out.
Big West(1)- Long Beach State: The 49ers should win the Big West regular season title again, and they should be the heavy favorites to win the Big West tournament title.
CAA(1)- Northeastern: The Huskies have fallen back to the pack in the post-VCU CAA, but still reign as the teams behind Northeastern beat up on each other.
Conference USA(1)- Memphis: The Tigers reign supreme in their final year in C-USA. It's very hard to take Southern Miss seriously in the at-large discussion when they barely have two top 100 wins.
Horizon(1)- Valparaiso: Valpo still leads the Horizon League(post-Butler), but take Detroit very seriously as we head towards tourney time.
Ivy(1)- Harvard: The Crimson are the heavy favorites for the auto NCAA bid after beating Princeton on Saturday.
MAAC(1)- Niagara: Niagara is the leader, but they may not be the best team in that league with Iona underachieving and teams like Loyola(MD) nipping at their heels.
MAC(1)- Akron: The Zips could make the tourney with a loss in the conference tourney with how weak the bubble is, but they would rather win the conference tourney to be safe. Ohio will likely be a factor in the MAC as well.
MEAC(1)- Norfolk State: Last year tournament darlings, the Spartans of Norfolk State are the favorites again even though North Carolina Central and Savannah State are both factors this year.
Missouri Valley(2)- Wichita State, Creighton: The Shockers and the Bluejays have appeared to have righted the ship and should both make the tournament albeit as lower seeds. Indiana State's at-large hopes are probably dead with three straight losses in MVC play.
Mountain West(4)- New Mexico, Colorado State, UNLV, San Diego State: Boise State is out as of now even with a win vs. Air Force which eliminated Air Force from at-large contention. Wyoming's chances are probably dead now as well with a 4-8 conference record.
Northeast(1)- Robert Morris: It's anybody's guess who's going to win this conference. The only guarantee: the winner of the Northeast Conference will likely be a 16 seed.
Ohio Valley(1)- Belmont: The Bruins will have to win the OVC conference tourney to be assured a bid into the tourney. Murray State could get hot, and Eastern Kentucky is right there as well.
Pac-12(6)- Arizona, UCLA, Oregon, Colorado, Arizona State, California: UCLA and Colorado both should be fine to make the tournament as long as they don't collapse down the stretch. Arizona State is squarely on the bubble, but they have a sweep against Colorado under their belt. California barely stayed in after getting a scare against USC. Stanford's hopes are dead for now with three straight losses.
Patriot(1)- Bucknell: The Bison regained control of the Patriot League with their win at Lehigh on Monday. Lehigh, if they get C.J. McCollum back, can still throw a wrench into Bucknell's hopes.
SEC(3)- Florida, Missouri, Alabama: Besides the Gators and the Tigers, no one in the SEC is safe. Alabama is barely in the field right now with six top 100 wins, but some ugly losses as well. Ole Miss is on the wrong side of the bubble after an ugly loss to South Carolina on the road. With no great wins that's bad news for the Rebels. Kentucky is out for now after getting blown out by Tennessee and barely squeaking out a home win against Vanderbilt. Tennessee might be working their way back into at-large consideration with a big opportunity vs. Florida on Super Tuesday. Arkansas has picked up some huge home wins, but they have to start winning road games to seriously be considered for an at-large bid.
Southern(1)- Davidson: Bob McKillop's Wildcats should be getting into the Dance as they are the best team in this conference by far.
Southland(1)- Northwestern St.: Northwestern St. leads based on their head-to-head win over Stephen F. Austin, but the rematch on March 2nd will determine the regular season title and the #1 seed in their conference tourney.
SWAC(1)- Southern: The Tigers lead, but in all reality, anyone beside winless Grambling State can win this conference tourney.
Summit(1)- South Dakota State: The Jackrabbits(by far the best nickname in all of college sports by the way) lead a tightly contested Summit league where Western Illinois and North Dakota State also are in contention.
Sun Belt(1)- Middle Tennessee State: The Blue Raiders can still make the tourney if they lose early in the conference tourney, but they should still win to be safe.
West Coast Conference(2)- Gonzaga, Saint Mary's: The Gaels are on the bubble with no marquee wins and some questionable early season losses. Sweeping BYU would help them out and eliminate BYU in the process. Saturday's game vs. Creighton is huge.
WAC(1)- Louisiana Tech- Louisiana Tech's in the same situation as Middle Tennessee State: they could still make it in with a loss in the conference tourney, but should still win to feel safe.

St. John's Coincidence: That exactly matches my bracket this week!
Seriously, I lagged this week and didn't get mine done. Field looks solid. (Anything unique I would have contributed would have made it less-accurate).
Excellent. One aesthetic request (nitpicky/inflexible on my part) --- for next week's, could you flip the 6-11/3-14 with 7-10/2-15? I've become so accustomed to seeing 2 seed subregion at the bottom, it throws me off. -

Tennessee is in if I did mine later. Probably first four game and take out Boise St.
I might throw up my lock and bubble list shortly.

Re: CF Member Bracketology
Tennessee is in that "seemingly comes out of nowhere" group that tends to show up in late-February/early-March.
The win over Florida was the high-end win to gain serious consideration (possibly the biggest thing lacking in that resume until now).
I was going to choose Memphis as a side-by-side, but I didn't want to appear big-conference bully.
Here's a different bubble-tilt: Tennessee vs. Arizona State -
Re: CF Member Bracketology
Bubble scores:
Charlotte getting blown out by Dayton. Jerry Palm, time to get them out of your damn bracket!
Akron got a nice win over Ohio. Working on that At Large bid.
Indiana State is out with that loss to Drake. No outside chance other than winning the conference tournament.

Re: CF Member Bracketology
I can't recall a season that had so much revolving-door for the 1 seeds.
