Iowa State Kansas State postgame thread

I saw a lot of positives, but also some negatives. It's a Big 12 road game, and those are tough.

We are still in this race, we'll just need some help now.

When you're Iowa State, you always have to deal with crappy refs on the road. And at home.

Tough to win when you turn it over 20 times and our leading scorer only has 6 pts.
Would have been nice to get a good road win for the resume.
We do have a good shot at our next 5-6 games.

Just gotta take care of 2-8 Texas. Don't need that feeling like we had after the the tech game again.

I'd like to meltdown but I won't. @ K-State will be the toughest game we play all year but man, sometimes ISU plays so soft. It's annoying to watch.

Just take care of Texas and everything is fine.

Oh and KSU fans are doing that stupid *** wabash cannonball dance again. My God they look stupid when they lean back and forth and clap their hands and point to the ceiling like that.

Refs were balanced. A lot of suspect calls went in our favor.

Wasn't our night. No real complaints here.

The fact is until Hoiberg can recruit better post defenders, we'll always be a bubble team that can't close on the road. You have to have insane talent to outscore quality opponents on the road when the opposition can score at will within 5 ft of the hoop.

KU will beat K-State this Monday and bring K-State fans back down to earth. No way in hell KU will lost 4 straight. Then we will only be one game back.

We have now finished playing at the 3 toughest road venues in the Big 12.

Need to defend home court.. Get 2 wins on the road, and that is 12 wins in conference. NCAA Bid.
Not too bad for a team that was picked to finish 8th.

I think the title is actually OSU's to lose, the only tough road game they have left is us.

They get KU, KSU, Oklahoma all at home.

I agree that this was the toughest game left. I think we have a great shot in all of the last eight games.

Will doesn't seem to be nearly as aggressive with his offense on the road. I'd like to see Freddie run a few plays for him right out of the gate against UT and get him in the flow.

offensive Rebounds. KSU scored on 80% of them. And thee was a bunch
Cut the turnovers down by a few
KSU when 100% from the line 2nd half.
We lost by 9.

Pretty easy to see what we needed to do.

Its tough to swallow that we should be in first place, but we didn't finish on 3 games that we had won. I can take this loss, but those other 3 we had won.
