Korie Tonight
Did anyone else think it was killer when he picked up his second and third fouls and had to sit on the bench late in the first half/early second? Our offense was clicking for awhile in the first, then he picked up his second and KState went on a run. He is a much better playmaker and gets guys good looks more than Bubu. Bubu is definitely a worthy fill-in, but without Korie out there, our offense seemed to stall a bit.

I don't think any coach plans for a scenario in which the point guard and the backup point guard both are in foul trouble early. It's not surprising we committed so many turnovers when you consider that.

Re: Korie Tonight
Agree completely. While I don't think Bubu played terrible tonight, the offense just wasn't the same when Korie was on the bench.

Re: Korie Tonight
Korie was creating almost all of our points in the first half, killed us when he got in foul trouble.

Re: Korie Tonight
You could tell it was K-State's strategy to frustrate and pressure Korie. Tough loss on the road, but we will bounce back.

Re: Korie Tonight
Yep. Backcourt foul trouble was a negative X-factor against us tonight.

Re: Korie Tonight
Tough game called on korie but the kid played his butt off, shot the ball cery well too

Re: Korie Tonight
One of his fouls was a terrible call. He was backing away from the guy and didn't even come close to touching him. There was few bad calls that went both ways so I can't really ***** too much

Re: Korie Tonight
I think it more had to do with Will struggling so much.

Re: Korie Tonight
I agree, I think when Korie went out is when KSU made their late 1st half run. Will was off his game and then to ask him to run point? That probably won't work.

If a DB placed his hands on a WR like the defensive player does to an offensive player in college basketball there would be a holding call every. single. time.
“They're very, very hard to guard,” Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey said. “They're really good. And with Niang in the middle kind of wheeling and all those guys spreading you out, they're kind of a nightmare matchup. And they're men. They're really men.” -
Re: Korie Tonight
Guys, stop talking bad about our players!!
If we talk bad about them like this they'll de-commit or transfer!!!

Re: Korie Tonight
Korie definitely makes things go. That was a tough switch to handle getting stuck on MacGruder

Yes, we needed him on the floor, he was GENERATING the offense, pass and shooting, we were killing the cats, then boom, no more offense.
