Re: Royce White debut
Watched Royce's first 5 minutes or so. He looked pretty much how you would expect in his first game in 11 months. Sloppy, slow, and basically lost on both ends. But you could still see that natural talent he has peeking through the rust.
And that's about all of the D-League action I can take for this year, although I do very much enjoy how easy it is to watch the games. That's good work by the NBADL and Youtube.

Re: Royce White debut
Anyone wanna get in front of a guy and play defense? Sheesh.

Re: Royce White debut
I wouldn't say he was slow, more than just not running very hard on purpose. if you watched him though he was running just as fast as any other big guy on a few breaks. Nothing we didn't know though. He is nowhere near the biggest hustle guy on earth.. He put on some lbs too. Probably don't want him to hustle right now anyway..lol

What examples exactly do you have of him playing sloppy? I'll agree with you that he looked slow, especially on defense, but I don't think in any way his passing or overall play was "sloppy"

I find it funny how there's probably more people watching on YouTube than their arena has fans in attendance..

Wasn't really guarding anyone on D, or moving with any purpose on O. Still can fire off some sweet passes, though.
