Re: Should McGee start?
I always look forward to Tyrus hitting the floor, and I think he provides a great boost when we're off to a rough start, I think we're better off that way.

Re: Should McGee start?
Somebody should be tallying the number of these threads we've had on here this year. There's at least one after every loss.

I feel like we've had this conversation on here before...

Re: Should McGee start?
No, there really isn't anyone you can take out of the starting lineup to put McGee in. Niang is our best big man, Ejim our best rebounder, Clyburn our best overall scorer, Babb our best defender and Lucious our best PG. Which one of those would you sacrifice to put him in? Going through it in my head the only one I'd consider replacing even for an instant is Ejim and that's just because of his foul trouble lately but it still comes down to his rebounding. So no, leave McGee on the bench.

Re: Should McGee start?
If RW would have stayed and we would have lost how many "Should Georges start?" Threads would we see?

Re: Should McGee start?
If McGee could play the point wouldn't he have had a turn at it during the first half of last season?

Re: Should McGee start?
Surprised no one was clever enough to catch that. McGee will start against Oklahoma State because it's the last home game & Senior night. Originally Posted by chuckd4735 I think he will start the Oklahoma State game. -
Re: Should McGee start?
Absolutely not, we need the instant offense off the bench. Plus he's becoming a better defender and rebounder.
If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right!! -

1.) who does he start over? Not Korie, not Chris, not Will. So that makes it a 0.1% chance
2.) you're not going to possibly sabotage hopefully the biggest home game of the year (presuming we beat KU, which I think we will)

Answer is still NO!!!!!

Re: Should McGee start?
No, of course not, but he does need to get more minutes. In particular, Bubu and Korie should never play at the same time unless there is massive foul trouble with Tyrus, Will, and Babb. In Fred I trust, but I really don't get that one.
