I can't argue with your rationale even though I think having anyone else win the conference will help people see the Big 12 as a legitimately competitive conference rather than the Kansas Jayhawk show.

However, you need to refrain from using that kind of language on a family site. Root for the Jayhawks, but Cyclone fans should never say that Jayhawk crap. It's bad enough that it isn't always drowned out by our fans in Hilton even when KU wins there...

To be honest after seeing all their fans I would hate for Purple Kansas to win both the championship in football and basketball. Would rather see KU win the conference. Go KU!

KSU fans can't handle a Big 12 Championship. They would be insufferable. KU fans can't get any worse so I'll probably root for KU and keep the status quo. I want ISU to knock KU off the B12 pedestal to bookend the early century achievement.

I respect Kansas, their program, their history, their success, and the way they play the game. Kansas plays what I call "pretty" basketball... They beat teams with their talent, with their execution, with their basketball IQ, and with their sound fundamental defense.

K-State on the other hand I have absolutely no respect for. Their program is a joke, their history is a joke, their level of success is a joke, and the way they play the game is a joke. K-State plays what I call "thug" or "rugby" basketball... they beat teams without the need to have talent, execution, basketball IQ, or sound fundamental defense. They beat teams by playing an excessively physical style of streetball with total disregard for the rules of the game and increasingly the officials turn a blind eye to it.

Wisconsin is well known for their hard nosed defense (within the rules) but even they looked like they had been in a street fight after playing K-State in the NCAA Tourney a few years back.... a game that Wisconsin won.
