Not surprised. Will needs to finish this year strong and show his wares. Six point games will not help him. Surprised that Son of McDermott is rated lower than him.

Is it just me or are the sarcastic comments about Gottlieb "hating ISU" getting old. I think we all get it, many on this board overreacted last year when Gottlieb said ISU doesn't play defense, but do we have to get the comments about it every time Gottlieb says/writes something related to ISU?

I always assumed Clyburn was way to weak with not enough ball handling skills to put him in the NBA. That is great he can make it, even with the super weak draft.

Lots of good stuff there.

I didn't realize former ISU recruit Colton Iverson, who originally signed with Minny, transfered to Colorado St and is getting draft attention.

Marcus Smart as a "better Jarrett Jack" is great analysis. Doug McDermott as needing to become a "Steve Novak clone" is not.

Also, that is a crazy weak draft class. There aren't more than 1 or 2 of those guys you'd predict as a future NBA all-star (Smart? McLemore?)

OP may be missing the words "so far." But as OP stated Gottlieb is right, so far.

Will is a really really nice player. This team would really hurt without him this year. If Will gets hot this team can beat and should beat anyone. If he is only getting 6 a night we are in trouble. Will can play guard but is most effective with playing off the ball and picking and chosing his attacks. Purple Kansas was a great lesson for ISU to see that defensive pressure. Fred and the boys will not make the same mistakes on offense twice.

Yes exactly, I'm still confused where he disappeared vs Iowa, but it hurt us.
