No matter how hard we try
We foul at the 11 second mark and give them 2 and then they hit a 3 at the end. I don't get it. I hope Fred keeps coaching and they don't get down on themselves. Something is bound to go our way. Fingers crossed.

Re: No matter how hard we try
Did we learn nothing from the Kansas game? How the hell did we not foul on the inbound?

Re: No matter how hard we try
This game isn't over yet.
They say that English surnames came from what you did with your life. I'm so glad my last name isn't Dickinson. -
Re: No matter how hard we try
Ouch. I feel bad for freddy. He's gonna have some major questions about this one too

Have you ever seen a nice looking abc/gooch? When you see one of those you just want to slap it with a cane

On Fred again, can't coach the last minute of a game.

We are cursed...this doesn't happen to any other school.

Re: No matter how hard we try
This, and either one of the overtimes, probably don't happen if Gibson doesn't play...

Re: No matter how hard we try
Fred did foul that first time. The thing that NO ONE EVER TALKS ABOUT is that you just give the other team another possession or chance to steal or chance for ISU to f*** up. The inbounds play would have been hard to foul too with the person moving out from inside the lane. The problem was no one got on the inbounder. That's maybe a coach's mistake, but more likely a mental error. Letting Kabongo get that easy layup (similar to the KU game) is really what hurts again.

I hope that he learns you need to be tough to win on the road. If not, you've seen the ceiling for him and this program last year. Fred is sort of a player's coach. He runs a soft, spread offense. He runs a soft, help defense. He recruits soft, offensive minded players.
That will work in Hilton, but we won't win many games on the road without some more toughness and D.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice....well ****, we got fooled again.

I can see where he's coming from on that one.
