Re: Possible Transfer
No thank you. Is Kale a bad player? No. Can Hoiberg land somebody better? Yes yes yes.

Re: Possible Transfer
He's a taller version of John Shurna. Yes please.

I would rather we wait and see what other transfers are available or give it to a 2014 recruit.

Re: Possible Transfer
I'm indifferent because I haven't seen him play. If he could play the 3/4 position I would not be surprised if we listened.
The wild card is where they think they stand with the 2014 recruits as well as Hougue's ability

Re: Possible Transfer
Not in favor at all unless we whiff on current targets.

I hear Dad might be a pain in the butt...Fred, you want to deal with one of those?

Re: Possible Transfer
Seems some of you would expect him to come and start or something. I see him as a great Niang back up. The thing we always worry about is Niang getting in foul trouble and other teams bigs being able to hangout in the lane.
If we could send in another 6'7" forward that can shoot the 3 at ~40% that would be huge.
If we have room, I would take him. Fred obviously wanted him at some point since he offered him.

yea ok ,well not a good fit here

Re: Possible Transfer
He can shoot, but every game I have watched NW play he is pulled immediately because of his TERRIBLE defense.
He might be the worst defender Ive seen in a long time.
We dont need any McDoormat era one dimensional players.

If a scholarship opens up, I'd rather see them go for another high school recruit for the 2014 class. Bring in 4 recruits instead of 3 recruits and a transfer. There is the possibility for a more immediate impact with a high school recruit especially with the guys ISU is targeting. 2014's Vaughn, Travis, Moore, Zabo, Malik-Abu , and others I can't think of are all better options than Abrahamson. No offense to Abrahamson whatsoever, but those 2014's have huge potential in CFH's program.

Re: Possible Transfer
I trust the coaching staff on stuff like this. I think if it makes sense, go for it (we recruited him before). I do think you have to carefully weigh player development, could the scholly be used otherwise, etc. One thing that COULD be good with something like this is, if there is an instate player that is wavering he could be like, "I thought I'd try something else, but realized Ames/Coach Hoiberg are better."

I am indifferent on this as well. have not seen him play enough.
