How good can George's get?
Just thinking about him as a junior or senior gets me excited. He's got the Basketball IQ of a fifth year senior and great footwork downlow. If he can turn some of that baby fat into muscle and get a step quicker. Wow

No way he's here all 4 years. Probably lucky to get three out of him IMO.
He's so skilled. Once he gets better physically, it's a wrap.

I don't see him leaving early, not athletic enough IMO.

I think muscles and conditioning are the key, especially on defense. You can also train to be more explosive, though obviously genetics are part of that.

He's so skilled. Once he gets better physically, it's a wrap. He has the skill, yes. The athleticism/body type is what's going to keep him here for four. I compare him to a Doug McDermott. He's an undersized 4, but he's not quick enough to be a 3.

it really depends on how much work he wants to put in.

I think he'll be a 4 year player and his jersey will be in the rafters someday.

He's so skilled. Once he gets better physically, it's a wrap. Three years at least. He comes off as someone who loves Iowa State and a smart guy who would want to graduate. I think all four years are very possible... But at least three years.

Re: How good can George's get?
I see the offense really running through him with the screen/handoff like they ran with Royce last year. He doesn't handle the ball or pass quite as well as Royce, but he's still a great passer for a big guy, and he adds the outside shot that Royce completely missed.
I think the best comp for him that I've come up with is a slightly better Draymond Green. They are roughly the same size, as Green is listed at 6'7" 230# and Georges is 6'7" 245#. Green didn't do nearly as much as a freshman or sophmore, but as a senior he averaged 16.2ppg, 10.6 rpg and 4.3 apg. I could see Georges ending up with something like 18/8/5 by his senior year.

Spelling police hinted that Georges's is the way to spell it?
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

He's so skilled. Once he gets better physically, it's a wrap. Only way he isn't here all 4 years is if he transfers.

Re: How good can George's get?
I think he will be here all 4 years and be all conference and probably 2nd or 3rd team all-american. I think the Doug McDermott reference is good, both have an inside and outside game - while have a high basketball IQ, they just seem to be in the right place at the right time.
Not sure how his game will translate to the NBA, but I think he will be on a roster for a number of years collecting a fat paycheck.

Re: How good can George's get?
He would be greatly aided if we recruit a good inside big man.

What is the scoring record? I think he can challenge that!
