Right now on kxno
Ken Silverstein from BTN just said a win in the Big 10 = 1 1/2 wins in other conferences. So if Iowa beats Nebraska this weekend it's worth more than an ISU victory vs KU on Big Monday... Wow
Also the Big 10 has extended offers to Virginia, North Carolina and FSU. Just what we need, Roy Williams telling iowa recruits he will play in Ames every other year.

Re: Right now on kxno
I'm cool with this as long as he admits a Big Ten football win has been worth about 1/2 of a win in a real conference the past few years.

Re: Right now on kxno
Ken Silverstein is a big ten shill. I wouldn't believe half of what he says.

What a stupid comment, especially when saying a big 10 team with a losing record this year should get in the tourney. No team with a losing record should ever get an at-large bid again, unless they double the size of the field

Re: Right now on kxno
As we've seen in years past when a conference fills the tourney with a ton of teams....they seem to always drop like flies and only 2 or 3 make it into the sweet sixteen. Will the Big 10 be any different? Probably not.

Re: Right now on kxno
I believe a win in the Big 12 is equal to 3 wins in the Big 10 in any sport.
oh and who gives a **** seriously.

People may hate Cowherd but when he had Dan Dakich on this morning, they sort of agreed that the "Big Ten is the bestest ever" is pretty much total *********.

Re: Right now on kxno

Ive never heard cowheard say anything i thought was intelligent or well thought out, scratch that, even thought out. Like the other day when he was complaining about the nfl having 27 arrests in 23 weeks and the nba having 23 arrest in 23 weeks. He says the nfl is thug but it popular so it doesnt matter, well he maybe partially right about popularity but the NFL also has at least 4x bigger roster than the nab. idiot. I hate that I ve listened to him 3 times in the last two years.
The quoted post makes me want to puke on the guy more.
I'm not trying to be difficult, it comes naturally.... -
Re: Right now on kxno
I dont get how playing 8 games vs teams with overall non winning records (NW,Purdue,Nebraska,Penn State) is equal to 12 Big 12 wins.

Re: Right now on kxno
Yeah because what makes the BIG a tough conference is the powerhouse Huskers bball. In fact if Indiana, Michigan, MSU, OSU, Wisconsin, and Minnesota left the conference there would be almost a negligible drop in the quality of ball there. That is how good the Huskers are.
