40 seconds left in the Baylor game and they investigate if Ejim had a flagrant. Do you think Melvin tried to inflict a little punishment? I am about 50/50 on it. I have seen Ejim get angry and dish a little out time to time, so I was wondering what others thought.
I really really dont think it was intentional. It was a 3 car wreck with the biggest vehicle leveling one of the sub compacts. I didnt see anything malicious just a mad break with 3 guys reaching same spot at same time. I thought they were going to give him one though, being home court reffing and all.
If anything on a collision like that you call the defender. No shoulders, elbows, etc were thrown by any of the three. Appropriate no call; I was surprised they went to the monitor.
I think they might have gone to the monitor because Drew was grabbing at straws at that point and was screaming that there was a flagrant. I think they almost have to look if a coach claims there was a flagrant foul elbow above the neck.
"There are five real good recruits in the state. We got three of them. One couldn’t get into school, and the other went to (the University of) Iowa...which is about the same thing." - Coach Johnny Orr

I think it was after the alley-oop last night, Ejim kind of gave a Baylor player a forearm shiver to the chest. I was surprised something wasn't called then. We definitely need more Ejim's on this team.
