In today's DM Rag, Withey says, (paraphrasing), "Hilton has a great atmosphere, kinda like Allen, but not as good." I'm thinking C-A needs to let him have it.

There better not be open seats in the student section like every single other game this year. It was sad when ISU announced a sellout for TT, and then you see 1,000+ open seats in the student section. Yeah students, I am calling you out!

Jeff Withey is a lot like all of the other bigs that Kansas has put on the court over the years.... just not as good.

He's probably right. We won't have anywhere near the same atmosphere as KU until we can actually fill all 2500 student seats consistently for conference games.

Shoot, if the students continue to not show up and fill their seats, I'm not sure why we don't go to selling some standing-room-only seats again like we did last year. They may have done it for more than one game last year (my memory is a bit foggy), but I know for sure that they did it for the Baylor game, our last game of the season, in order to pack things out. In fact, I bought one of those standing-room-only seats and the place was full because of it.
