Just watched the live Sportscenter with Stuart Scott and Scott Van Pelt.

They repeatedly called out the Big 12 and the refs from the game. Said ISU was robbed. But my favorite was at the very end "Big 12 said they will review the no call at the end and what does that mean? NOTHING absolutely nothing, never has and never will"

ESPN is backing ISU in this guys and I for one am glad as ****.

I know Stuart Scott gets a lot of criticism for being over the top at times, which is probably justified, but good for him.

I've had a man crush on Van Pelt for a while now and I'm not afraid to admit it. I wonder if he'll mention it on his radio show tomorrow.

In practical terms, it's meaningless. The call won't be reversed, the game won't be given back to us.

But when the fact that the officials screwed you gets this much attention, it seems like it's an asterisk in our favor if we're a bubble team or they're deciding whether they should bump us up a seed. A "yeah, but" that just might come back to work in our favor.

Not nearly as valuable as actually getting the win we deserved. But it's better than nothing.

I agree. If you're on the NCAA Selection Committee objectively it means nothing by rule, but subjectivity could play at least a small part in our favor.

Well first off we cant be a 15 seed at this point. Maybe if we were a 4 win team overall and won the conference tournament we could be. 15 seed goes to the low mid major schools winning their conference tournament.
