Big XII looks horrible after tonight
The Big XII just got caught with its pants down tonight on national TV. They thought they could protect their flagship program but just got exposed. This **** is all over ESPN and now the conference looks like some crazy religious cult trying to protect its sadistic leader. At least the nation can now understand why Kansas is such a paper tiger come March.

Nice. I'd like this to stay on Sports Center for another day. Hurt KU come selection Sunday (like any loss should) and help ISU (like any win would). Attention always helps with recruiting.
I'm kind of ticked about showing Fred's son however. I think every fan had a tear given the injustice, just a little better at hiding it or turning into anger.

Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

I didn't think it was cool to single out one of Fred's little ones. All's fair and they can do what they want when televising a game, but I still don't think it was cool.

Re: Big XII looks horrible after tonight
I was fine with ESPN showing the crying when it happened, and for a little time. When it was for way too long and they kept repeating the shot...that's when it felt over the line.
If we're all honest, we all felt similarly, but still.

It was terribly tacky. Almost beyond belief.

Re: Big XII looks horrible after tonight
I thought that the coverage was a bit over the top. They showed two dudes putting gold makeup on each other's faces and even showed Fred's son crying in the recap. That is pretty low if you ask me. Not sure what to do about that... I might just stop visiting espn.com and watching espn... not that they would care.

If we're all honest, we all felt similarly, but still. I'll have to go back and look at it. Anyone who is a fan should understand....when you are 9 those things hurt like heck. As a kid that grew up living and breathing Iowa State basketball, I can completely understand that (and obviously my Dad wasn't the coach and I didn't actually know those players)

I remember when I was little and ISU played Hampton in Boise. Wasn't allowed to stay up to watch the game. I thought ISU had it in the bag anyways. Go downstairs to check the final score, dad says, "they lost". Only time i've ever cried after a sporting event, even after the final sporting events in high school. It's how people work I guess.
Didn't get any sleep, worst night of my life. Part of it is that people don't just rely on sporting events to get by. As a kid, that's all you have growing up til teenage years.
Waiting for the "cool starry bra" pics.
Come here to chew bubble gum and kick ***, have I. And all out of bubble gum, I am. -

Waiting for the "cool starry bra" pics. That is funny because I didn't think the game was on very late.
