If it makes you feel better to do so, go for it.
So you're outraged they called a foul on Niang for a KU player landing on him to decide the game.

Your posts make it seem like you didn't watch the game at all. This was the exact 100% polar opposite of letting the players decide the game.

I was at the game and yes a call went against us, but it wasn't the only call that went against us and there were calls that went against KU. We were in a situation to win. Up 5 with 45 seconds left. Johnson made some big shots and we missed a critical free throw. We should have never been in a situation to let the refs decide the game. That is my point. I don't think there is one person on this board who thinks the refs would favor us. We were at a disadvantage going in. We had to win the game on our terms.

Then why bring up that you're a fan of Detroit Pistons style basketball and letting the players decide it? Did you mean you're a fan of that and it's exactly the opposite of what you saw?

    1. ISU player hit by freight train.
    2. Correct call of charge not made.
    3. Incorrect call of block not made.
    4. Game deciding ticky tack foul called on a player for laying on the ground with another player laying on top of him.

None of that has anything to do with the kind of play and officiating you claim to prefer.

I am pretty sure the kid was out of bounds when he first touched the ball as well.

You've conveniently skipped responding to my post where I showed you where we HAD 2 stops...they were GIVEN 4 free shots at the basket. Best case that's an 8 point difference for us...worst case...4 points for us. This is how they managed to come back in the last 45 seconds. We did make the stops. The refs stole those stops and put them at the line.

And you can't have it both ways...either let them play or not. Don't let one side play and call phantom fouls on the other in the closing seconds. Normally I don't blame the refs but this different. We made the plays to win the game. Refs reversed that. How do we avoid letting them call fouls on us when we didn't foul? Total BS and you know it. You may be right that it won't change anything to complain but it does no good to not stand up for yourself.

They let the players decide the game. I don't know how big you are, but 195 pound Elijah Johnson is not my definition of a fright train. As far as points 2 thru 4 go they cancel out as +1 for KU. My high school basketball coach always shared a quote with us, "He that is good for making excuses, is seldom good for anything else." We could spend all week debating what could have been, but no matter what it is a loss. Either the team starts getting ready for the next game or they dwell on what could have been.

Your math and reasoning fail. They didn't let them play. They called a foul on us...on the floor...with a guy on top of our guy...who just ran our guy over. Read my post. 2 shots for them on the Babb foul. Should have just been out of bounds on them..our ball. No call on Charge...blatant foul. Should have been 2 shots for us. How do you not see how this affected the game with possessions and points? Excellent work trolling. That is the only thing I can think of right now.

I doubt any of the team is on this board right now. And no, they didn't let the players decide the game. They made a decision to not make a call (that was clearly not a ticky tack foul - it should have been called) and then decided to make another questionable call. Those decisions were not "letting the players decide the game". The officials decided the game by which calls they decided to make and which they decided to not make.

Now you are just trolling. Good night.

So just to be clear, you want the refs to reverse their decision and give the win to the Cyclones? That is not going to happen. No matter what those on this board and those in the Big 12 decide this will be a loss. We can either dwell on it or move on. I guarantee that the players will move on and I will too.

So just sit quietly and take it huh. I don't think so. It may not change anything...but you know what for sure won't change anything...doing nothing. Good life strategy...be wronged and take it. Implied jimlad.

Anyone who will listen and plenty who don't want to. No idea. But what will you not doing anything accomplish? Exactly nothing.

And you still haven't tried to explain away the extra possessions that they were given...or wait...the refs let them play...but not really since they did call fouls that put KU at the line.

Apathy is a disease and you my friend are sick. We can help you, but you need to get rid of your it probably won't do anything attitude. Who cares if it doesn't....

Alright..in the morning. I need to be up in 2 hours. We need a hashtag for starters. You need to recruit some cute coeds to have people sign a petition. Then deliver said coeds to me. Oh and the petition.

Understandable. Personally, I suggest contacting the Big 12 and suggesting these refs do not work the conference tourney. I bet we could get enough support from enough CFers (and probably some KSU fans) to make it happen.
