Hopefully the reaction is "meh," nothing we didn't already know and nothing we can do about it now. So let's focus on going down to OU and kicking them in the teeth again(figuratively - after last night's twitter debacle, I feel the need to be clear).
The only thing this should do is light a fire under the team's collective *** to do everything possible so the officials don't have the chance to steal another game from them.
KU is over, time to focus on OU!
On another note - Chris, when the schedule and results are updated, I think this one should have an asterisk next to it. Or, maybe change the opponent to "KU and the refs", vs ISU..... just a thought.

Re: Statement
A stronger statement than I expected. I do think last night's game gives us a nudge in the right direction from the human portion of the selection process.

That is not enough, and there is precedent. Big 12 head of officials apologizes to Mizzou's Pinkel for blown call seMissourian.com: College Sports: Big 12 head of officials apologizes to Mizzou's Pinkel for blown call (11/21/06)
We deserve and should expect the same. Nothing less. Don't freakin rollover Cyclone fans. This BS must end!

Re: Statement
LukeMeredith @LukeMeredithAP Bears repeating: If the NCAA tourney committee believes Iowa State SHOULD have won last night they can consider that a win if they want. LukeMeredith @LukeMeredithAP That being said, Iowa State still has Okla, WVU on road, Okie State at home. Cyclones can render all this null with 2 big wins. LukeMeredith @LukeMeredithAP @JMCato A win at Oklahoma might be more valuable than a home win vs. Kansas for Cyclones anyway _ weird as that sounds. LukeMeredith @LukeMeredithAP To paraphrase what the Big 12 just said: Cyclones got hosed. Sorry. The two officials who blew calls might work a lot less in future. LukeMeredith @LukeMeredithAP The question now for Iowa State: What does NCAA tournament committee do now that Big 12 basically admits refs screwed them out of KU win?

Re: Statement
To Wesley, the tie breaker is only for tourny purposes. Teams that end the season with the same records are considered co-champs. Ref: Ksu and Ou were co-champs in football even though Ksu beat Ou.

“I told you, I don’t care if you’re black or white. I don’t care if you’re rich or poor. I don’t care where you come from, whether it’s Texas, Florida, California, or right here in the state of Iowa, I don’t care about any of that… But what I did care about is moving forward from that day on, that we were one team." -Paul Rhoads -

Is this supposed to make us feel better?

KU will co share with three wins even if Turnover City EJ goes back to scoring 9 a game. KSU finish is still up in the air.

Re: Statement
I think people are missing the silver lining about this: The conference acknowledging this makes it much more likely that the Selection Committee would count the game as an ISU win - or at least not an ISU loss. The loss from yesterday may not be reflected in the seed ISU ends up with for March Madness.

Re: Statement
Not saying I would do it, but I wouldn't complain too much if the crowd boo'd and throws **** non stop at these clowns next time they are in town. But hopefully they are never allowed back.

Re: Statement
KU fans only think we are sore losers because they have never been screwed over by the refs
