That would be true if the refs were also manly. Unfortunately, refs are whimps that get intimidated by the tantrums of people like Self. And then, our manly man must respond.

I'm kind of in the camp that it may help with some refs and hurt with others. Larry was pretty aggressive, but I sure don't remember getting more than our share of calls.

Choke slam, holding him at the top of the slam a moment...then when finished put on foot on O'Neill's chest and make the choke slam motion to the crowd ala The Giant.

No wonder you have been so grumpy the last couple of days.

    poor guy....you must never smile:)

It has been a ****** week. I am better than I used to be at letting Iowa State sports stuff go, but every once in a while there is one that sticks with me for a crazy long time. The last game that I was like this was the last football game against Nebraska.

I will feel better after our next win, if the players are able to bounce back and play hard on Saturday, and if this wasn't the game that keeps Iowa State out of the NCAA. If we are right around the first 4 or next 4 out, I will take that freaking game through the entire offseason.

Or even throughout the entire coming season, or even through the coming 2-3 years.

I feel like you are mocking me, but that is strangly close to the truth. :) I told my Dad Tuesday, that this was always going to be one of those games we talk about.

Swishing a one-handed three is not that hard to do at all.

Fred's FT competition he won as a coach last year or the year before was mighty impressive though. Those were just crazy numbers he was shooting.

He will be a stud when he starts to coach defense and defensive effort.
NHL teams need to be added to the favorite teams section.

Good lord, what's with all the sourpusses today? If CFH walked on the moon, I'm sure someone on this board would say "pfft, that's been done before; call me when he walks on Mars".

Most people will still be on edge til Iowa State wins their next game.
