Hadn't looked at SDW highlights in a while but after having done so, I'm even more excited to see what a year of strength/conditioning have done to improve his game. Looks like he has unlimited range and is athletic. Not enough to determine whether his handle is good enough to play point, though he shows flashes of having one.

Why would it? One bad game doesn't change a thing. Iowa will still be a darkhorse B1G championship contender, and Iowa State will be lucky to make the NIT.
I remember last year thinking that he was clearly our #2 best player behind Niang (based purely on highlight videos, which admittedly don't tell you the whole picture).
He could be a special player, hopefully that turns out to be the case. I also forgot how impressive his videos were and the impressive offer list he had.
