Are we really good enough to beat Texas by 20 and lose to them on the road. Are we really good enought to destroy OU and then get blown out on the road? There is something wrong with this team. It's like they lack total effort when they go on the road. I don't get it at all. Seriouslly have not seen anything like it since Johnny Orr coached and we went 8-0 at home and 0-8 on the road.

The only players who seem to give effort on the road consistently is Ejim, McGee, and Niang. Everyone else acts like they don't care on the road. Clyburn especially.

Clyburn is the worse on the road. Somebody should look up what he averages at home compared to on the road

First off, I think this a tourney team but the idea we are a bad road team may be a misconception. Maybe we over achieve at home, and play to our talent level on the road who knows.

We lack a true strong big guy inside. Will is squashed by 6-8 defenders inside on his drives. Niang needs to shoot better in the remaining big games.

I won't say i won't miss clyburn next year as i miss every senior that chose to play for my alma matter, but he is not a good basketball player away from home. he has the size you want, but he just walks through games. he doesn't want to dominate. it's really frustrating to watch at times. and then you see he is top 5 in scoring and rebounding and it was the ugliest 11 and 10 you ever saw.

I for one am looking forward to when we have four year players rather then transfers. I don't think transfers are here long enough to fully understand the iowa state culture, or what isu athletics means to us fans

Clyburn shooting .357 on the road and .506 at home.

Clyburn averages 13.375 on the road and 16.75 at home. Not a lot of point difference but this tells us he shoots far more often on the road.

It's a head scratcher that is is for damn sure. If we ever figure out how to win even half of our road games in conference play we could have the chance to do amazing things in this league.
