This loss easier to handle than Monday's?

Am I the only one that is taking today's loss much better than Monday's? While I do care about this loss, I guess I'm not getting worked up over this one. What's everyone else think? Is it easier for the fans when your team isn't ever in the game or a nail biter that your heart gets ripped out?

I chalk today up as it just wasn't ISU's day. It happens. Getting your heart ripped out time and time again is exhausting.

It's easier to forget about, that's for sure.

Ya this loss is much easier to handle than the Ku debacle.

If ISU had pulled out the Kansas game, I may be able to shrug off this bad follow-up on the road — and the gravity of the situation as far as tournament path wouldn't have been as much.

    But I don't understand this:

“I put this one on me,” Hoiberg said. “For whatever reason, I didn’t have these guys ready to play, and it’s extremely disappointing to me.

I can understand flatness if you have a heartbreaker in huge game at home on Wednesday, then go on the road on Saturday. But with five days, you can’t light a fire under the team or come up with a viable game plan?

Re: This loss easier to handle than Monday's?

Just didn't have it today. Players didn't shoot well and the gameplan to give them the midrange jumper backfired in spectacular fashion. I am much more comfortable with that than having the biggest conferecnce season win in 10 years stolen by some ******* ref.
"He is the toughest I have ever been around, physically and mentally," Burnham said. "You can beat him down but you’re not going to beat him out. He’s got the mindset of, ‘If you’re going to get me out of this game, you’re going to have to kill me.’ That’s about where he is."

there were more bricks off the front iron than shots go in. this loss was a lot easier because we were out the entire game. we lost it, the refs didn't steal it.

No, it hurt mainly because I couldn't fathom losing after we stomped em earlier this year.

I don't know. I feel deeply that losing sucks in both instances.

We actually deserved to lose this game compared to getting it robbed from us.

So much easier. Nothing worse then getting robbed at the last thirtyseconds

Re: This loss easier to handle than Monday's?

This hurt less for a few reasons..I expected a loss here more than against Kansas. Sandwiched between kansas and OSU home games, against a ****** off OU looking for revenge..just had a bad feeling.

This game just made me sad. KU game angered me.
