Should we go to the Big Dance... Where will we be seeded???

I'm praying for a #7 seed in the Dance.
We have a few more victories left in us before Selection Sunday!

Certainly don't want to see an #8 or #9.

10 or 11 is more likely...unless we roll everyone in the Big12 tournament. I'm happy with either 10 or 11...we could make a DEEEEP run with that seed.

Lose the next two: 12 or 13
Beat WV and lose to OU: 11 or 12
Beat both, then lose: 10 or 11
Win beyond that and maybe a 8 or 9, with a 7 possible

watch us play our way into a 8 or 9 now, but this year, i'd be ok with it, there is not a team I'm afraid of

seriously, an 11 or 12 and play msu or michigan in michigan third round, or play indiana or gonzago somewhere else. Bring on the 1 seed this year.

i would love to face KU in the big 12 tourney AND the ncaa tourney and beat them both times!

Right now they will likely be a 12 seed. Hopefully they win a couple more and get the 10 seed. An 8 or 9 could be deja vu from last season, but at least there is not a clear cut dominate team this season. Every team is beatable. Should be an exciting NCAA tournament. Any team could make a run. There is going to be upsets galore.

That's why I say bring on the 1 seeds this year. It'd be a higher profile win if we did pull the upset, and there is no number 1 seed I'm more afraid of than a lot of the 3 seeds. Last year there was Syracuse with Melo, until he got hurt, and Kentucky I wanted to avoid. This year, I'm not afraid of anyone, so screw it, put us as a 9, we can take out Indiana, Gonzaga,(has only made it past sweet 16 1 time in it's history, yet it is a powerhouse(too much media hype)) Duke, Miami (scares me a little) But no more scary than playing MSU in michigan second round.

I'm guessing an 11 seed, maybe even a 12, which would not be good. Big 12 is just not strong enough, and ISU is still not a strong road team.

That being said, whatever the seed, I think this is a team that can be difficult to defend, and can cause a lot of match-up problems for many teams because it just has so many weapons. It all depends on if these guys can get their heads together to play well away from Hilton.
