    McGee, Clyburn, Ejim, Babb, Niang, and Lucious Win Big 12 Awards

    Just announced on Twitter... here are the Iowa State recipients of Big 12 Awards:

    Chris Babb: All-Defensive Team
    Will Clyburn: Newcomer of the Year, All-Rookie Team, and All-Conference Second Team
    Melvin Ejim: Scholar-Athlete of the Year and All-Conference Third Team
    Korie Lucious: All-Conference Honorable Mention
    Tyrus McGee: Sixth Man of the Year and All-Conference Honorable Mention
    Georges Niang: All-Rookie Team

    I don't know, last year everyone talked about his defense too and no one voted for him. They seem to think that only shot blockers play defense.

    I'll be very surprised if Babb makes it which would be a crock of ****.

    If you don't think coaches of opposing teams noticed what Babb was doing last season, your delusional. Hes doing the same thing this season, which is why I'm concerned he will get slighted again.
