Dont know if I have enough * for an official thread but oh well. Anyway we are fine, better to get a game like this out the way and re-focus. Tyrus hasn't been good for 3 games, he is due. Korie hasn't been good for 2 games, he will re-focus and be fine. All this was tonight was a grudge match plain and simple its not like we needed the win to dance. We will have no problems getting prepared for our future 1st round opponent, I would expect them to be all ears. We shoot better than what we did tonight we keep the pressure on, we just didn't.

I just don't think the rims suited our eye this weekend. Just didn't have the stroke either day.

On to the tournament. In the grand scheme, this game didn't mean anywhere near as much as the last three and the next one.

Exactly and KU had problems the 1st 2 times OU 2-3 times as well. We are SCARY for a team that doesnt have the athletes to matchup.

I like this team a lot but you just never know what you are going to get when not at home. I think we over analyze it way to much. Lets just hope we hit shots and get on a roll in the tourney and maybe make some noise, but a double digit first round loss is just as possible unfortunately.

The bottom line with this team is that they can go as far as they want to. They have what it takes to be very dangerous. But they've got to be in the right place mentally.

Take the next few days to rest, get their legs back under them, get their head in the right place, and make travel arrangements.

Definitely time to regroup. In all honesty, I think they started the regrouping tonight. We got down big, but pulled it together and started to fight back. KU was just too much tonight to recover from that 10 minutes of bad ball we played. Glad to see Lucious hit that shot and squeak in that layup. Another zero in the pts column for him would mess with his head even more. I thought he pulled it together at the end. He's definitely important to the way we play and we miss him against good defensive teams. Clyburn's dribble is too high for him to take up that slack. I thought it looked rough yesterday, but tonight it wasn't there at all as KU can defend. My only other comment is that we need to run our offense and take good shots. I felt like we tried to draw the foul quite a bit tonight. Refs aren't going to call a foul if you're out of control running into the lane. In the grand scheme of things I was terrified of playing ourselves into a 8-9 seed. Hoping to see us in the 11 seed spot.

The pace and flow of this game didn't favor the way we play. Plain and simple. It was just an ugly game played by two teams real familiar with each other. I'm hoping for a sweet 16 run with a favorable seeding. Once this team plays someone that doesn't know every move we make and we can dictate the pace the team will be fine.

I think Babb needs to drive more and take more pull up shots to open things up. KL needs to evaluate who he is playing against - if they have blockers inside, dish out.

This loss is just whatever to me, played bad just need to move on. Getting to the championship would have taken a lot of energy out of our guys, I'd rather they just save that for the real tournament.

KU shot 70% in the 2nd half. ISU's defense cant win if a team is shooting that good. Out of the three KU loses, this one is the least frustrating.
