Me either, and I don't know how they can change it. Maybe he needs to learn to front and deny the ball and if his player gets teh ball just stay out of the way and don't get a foul. He can't outjump anyone and block a shot.

Doucher OP post with the put downs but Niang had a great game. Can't wait to see him in the coming years.

Niang is incredible offensively. Defensively/rebounding he has a lot of work to do.

    Thank you Georges.
Sure wish we wouldn't have had Clyburn last night against OK. He just hurt us all game.

Clyburn didn't have a great game but I don't think he killed us at all. Of course everyone would like great numbers all the time. Korie didn't have a good game. I think these two have been nothing but great for ISU and deserve a little slack. They are a big part of getting ISU to the dance.

For only one year as a Cyclone, those two have made their marks. If they hadn't, Sunday would be just another day

Exactly. Anyone who has played sports knows it is really, really difficult to play your best game in and game out. That is what makes some of the great players in history so great.

KL and WC have given us some great, great games this year. I do not get dumping on guys like this.

Almost as annoying as constantly whining about the refs. Gets old real fast.

Luscious had 5 steals and 7 assists. man, not bad. Hasn't shot well recently, but i bet he will be back to form for the NCAA, been rumors of him being sick, no idea if true, but he will be back to raining down shots. Maybe Fred has him focusing on defense more, who knows. Both him and Clyburn have been great at ISU, glad to have them this year.

I hope people didn't take me seriously here, that is why I put the rolling eyes.

    Re: Shoutout to Niang

I think the entire team played really well, the 2nd half of this year. I can't really judge defense that well, so I'm not gonna try, but I think Clyburn, Lucious, and Niang all had seasons to be proud of. The way Lucious turned around his season was awesome, and Clyburn gave consistent rebounding, passing, and some great scoring games.

No. Lucious has played not his best the past 2 games but it is not his fault 41 of the points scored came from the KU post. How can KL do anything about that? He kept the pg's in check for the most part and had 7 assists...that's not fantastic but certainly not poor.

I was pretty down on Korie at the beginning of the year, but I really grew to like him a lot this year. He's a good guy and is really trying hard for the team and playing team ball. He had a very rough game tonight, but it wasn't from lack of effort.

    Re: Shoutout to Niang

Losing tonight isn't all bad, a 10/11 seed is probably better than ending up in the 8/9 again, and the extra day of rest may be helpful. It also helps to go into the NCAAs with something to prove. Maybe the rumors of KL being sick are true, or maybe he just had a bad tourney. In either case, hopefully things are different next week. We could be Baylor or Iowa!

    Re: Shoutout to Niang

I think losing tonight had more to do with the players being tired from the OU game. Their shots were short, the shots not falling cost ISU the game. We knew going in the D wasnt going to be good. Took a lot of energy to play OU and the come back even took more. KU basically had a practice on Thurs.
