How does SEC get out of having to stick their garbage programs in this supposed "challenge"? If the B12 has to throw Tech out there the SEC should be forced into having **** programs like Auburn and Mississippi State in the mix.
Maybe too much hate by most of the Big 12 towards them yet. Worried about fan backlash??? Hence they play WVU who has no hatred towards them. Just a theory, because ya, there would be more eyeballs to see them play an old conference member. Although KU/Florida will be a good game too and have plenty of eyeballs.
Any idea if it's home or away?
Yea, makes sense. I still think that would be a cant miss matchup.
Not defending Henderson or anything, but I think he tweeted about how much he enjoyed watching us during the Hilton Screwjob against Kansas last season.
the guy is crazy, which makes him awesome. unless he is at Hilton, playing the clones. Many people including myself will do anything to **** this guy off just to watch him freak out. If the fans got "the bird" from him at the end of the game i would consider it a job well done.
Should have matched up teams from top down vs the same conference rank.
florida vs ku
Ole miss vs ksu
Kentucky vs osu
Alabama vs ou
tennessee vs isu
missouri vs baylor
Arkansas vs texas
Lsu vs wvu
Georgia vs ttech
vandy vs TCU
Why would it? One bad game doesn't change a thing. Iowa will still be a darkhorse B1G championship contender, and Iowa State will be lucky to make the NIT.
If you ask the basketball analysts outside the state of Iowa I think you would be surprised to hear their responses. Iowa was pegged as a preseason top 5 team by one ESPN analyst and is ranked in the vast, vast majority of preseason top 25 polls
