Recent background on Dominique Buckley

The Detroit Free Press is projecting Dominique as the second-best player in Michigan this year per the following article: BOYS BASKETBALL PREVIEW: MICK McCABE'S TOP 100 PLAYERS: The next 99 may be Green with envy. In case the link doesn't work, it says that Dominique first became noticed because of his defensive prowness but has improved all facets of his game. He played pointguard last year but has now moved to shooting guard to take advantage of his scoring ability.

His team, Romulus High School, is 2-0. Dominique scored 16 points in their last game.

The expected number one player is a 6'7" big guy who spent about half his time last year at point guard because of his passing ability. He will be going to Michigan State next year.

Go back to the PG slot son, we don't need any more shooting guards!

I wouldnt mind seeing him stay at PG. I know his court vision wont leave due to 1 year at SG, but we need a leader for next year. I cant wait for him to get here. Its nice to hear he's known for his defense, something we could always use a lil extra of.
