OK..I found the NCAA 2008 record book. Unfortunately it only lists all the record for positive things and not for futility.
I emailed the listed NCAA contact with my question. Hopefully he responds.
Ok...here is the response I got back from the NCAA. Although this is not 100% confirmation, I have to think that SH is either owning or close to owning the record given this info.
This came from the statistics and records dept. of the NCAA.
[FONT='Calibri','sans-serif']I try not to keep negative individual records so I donít have such a record.[/FONT] [FONT='Calibri','sans-serif']The furthest back I can research is to 2002 for final season stats. From 2002 to 2007, Greg Roberts of N.C. A&T had 20 three-point attempts with none made in 2006. That was the most attempts I could find of anyone with none made.[/FONT] [FONT='Calibri','sans-serif']Keep in mind that some players may have missed more in a row but ended up with at least one three-pointer made, so they would not have shown up on my list.[/FONT] [FONT='Calibri','sans-serif']Thanks for your interest in NCAA basketball.[/FONT]
